So this weekend was quite eventful. Saturday marked the second anniversary of Takai and I's wedding, so to celebrate, I whisked her off to the Big Apple to see her favorite show, Evita. I'll let her explain that, because I'm pretty sure she's still coming down from the shock. ^_^ Granted, it was cold and wet the whole time we were there, and she had a little trouble folding into city buses and subway cars, but we had a very exciting time. We even met up with our favorite pork-based deviant, and he got to show us around a little of the city before he had to run off to meet up with some friends of his. It was an incredible trip, but right now I'm just happy to be home again.
C-Quel, thank you from both of us for meeting us, showing us around, and just being awesome. I hope you had as much fun meeting us as we did meeting you!
To my wife Takai: I know I've said this a dozen times this weekend, and on Facebook, and you're probably tired of hearing it, but I'm going to say it once more... Thank you for sharing your life with me. You bring me so much joy, and I'm so fortunate to have someone as caring and wonderful and accepting as you in my life. Behind every artistic action of mine, behind every line and color, you inspire and motivate me, and without you, I would accomplish nothing. Thank you for understanding and encouraging me, and for just being you. I love you!
