Hey there folks! So, just recently, my favorite pony artist
put up a great tutorial on how she handles shading... I know not all of my followers are equine enthusiasts, but regardless, there are some really handy ideas in there, and while I didn't make this picture expressly to test some of it out, that's kind of how it ended up. I was seriously inspired by her commission
, and I will admit that I borrowed a few parts of the way she drew Tea Biscuit (what I've been calling Takai's ponysona) that I thought really loved. The hair was still a challenge... And honestly, I picked the simplest pose I could have possibly picked, with no fancy angles or anything at all... But I'm pretty happy with it, for such a simple drawing! I hope you all like it!
